High Temperature Ceramic Fabric Reinforced with Fiberglass or SS wire is a woven fabric made from high quality ceramic fiber yarn. It can be used for high temperature applications up to 1260°C. The cloth is reinforced with fiberglass filament and optional Inconel / stainless steel wire. Ceramic fiber cloth finds its application in heat insulation furnace curtain, Radiant heat shielding, Safety blankets, Welding blankets, Gaskets and pipe wrapping etc. Main charasteristics of this fabric are that it is light weight, has low thermal conductivity, Resists corrosive chemicals and is strong and abrasive.
Applications
Ceramic cloth provides excellent protection from molten metal splash and is recommended for welding, metal cutting and other metal processing.
