Heat Cleaned Fiberglass Coated Silicone Fireproof Sleeve is also named Industry fire sleeve, this fireproof sleeve is made of braided fiberglass yarns in a flexible substrate, then coated with a high grade silicone rubber. The fiberglass after heat treated, so that chance to tan colored. It is a self-extinguishing thermal protection sleeve. Silicone rubber on our fire sleeve sheds molten metals, slag, welding splatter, electrical or grinding sparks and contamination.
Firesleeve protects continuously to 500°F (260°C) and will withstand a molten splash at 2200°F (1200°C).
It offers excellent short term flame protection and great insulation properties for high temperature.
Applications
Can be easily installed over hoses, cables, tubing or pipes. It offers excellent resistance to molten metal splash, radiant heat, abrasion, corrosive atmosphere, moisture, chemicals, vibration, and electricity.
In addition to protecting hoses, cables, pipes, etc., Fire Sleeve can protect operators from incurring scorching burn injuries on hot braided hoses and pipes. Fire Sleeve's excellent moisture resistance makes it ideal for outdoor applications and heat resistance.
It’s mainly used in steelworks, glass and ceramic industry, in railway and some other fields, protect cables, wires and hoses with very high temperature.
