BST-VFRS Fire Resistant Firesleeve With Velcro Hook and Loop is a perfect solution to protect cables, wires and hoses with very high temperature. It’s made by fiberglass sleeve and silicone. This sleeve is a self-extinguishing thermal protection sleeve. Silicone rubber on our fire sleeve sheds molten metals, slag, welding splatter, electrical or grinding sparks and contamination.
This sleeve with the velcro system offers the chance to bundle and install easily different cables and wires. This retrofit solution allows the sleeve to be added, or replaced conveniently - this makes for an easy to use Electic Arc Furnace cable cover (EAF cable cover).
Withstands Molten Splash & Welding Splatter.
Withstands 500°F / 260°C continuous exposure; 2200°F / 1205°C for periods up to 15 minutes and short flash excursions to 3000°F / 1650°C.
Applications
Can be easily installed over hoses, cables, tubing or pipes. It offers excellent resistance to molten metal splash, radiant heat, abrasion, corrosive atmosphere, moisture, chemicals, vibration, and electricity.
In addition to protecting hoses, cables, pipes, etc., Fire Sleeve can protect operators from incurring scorching burn injuries on hot braided hoses and pipes. Fire Sleeve's excellent moisture resistance makes it ideal for outdoor applications and heat resistance.
It’s mainly used in steelworks, glass and ceramic industry, in railway and some other fields, protect cables, wires and hoses with very high temperature.
