Titanium Turbo Blanket	Basalt/lava-fiber fabric exterior, sold as our titanium turbo blanket range. This is a textile outer cover, not a metallic titanium shell.
Carbon Turbo Blanket	Carbon fabric exterior with a black woven finish. Specify the fabric grade and any surface-treatment requirements when ordering.
Aluminized Turbo Blanket	Aluminized fabric exterior with a metallic face. The backing fabric, facing construction and insulation are selected for the required operating conditions.
Silicone-Coated Turbo Blanket	Silicone-coated fiberglass exterior, with colors available on request. Match the coating specification to the expected outer-cover temperature.

Silicone-coated fiberglass exterior, with colors available on request. Match the coating specification to the expected outer-cover temperature.

Optional Embossed Metal Foil Layer

An embossed metal foil layer can be added to a custom turbo heat shield blanket according to your requirements. Send the required metal grade, foil thickness, embossing pattern and coverage area, or a reference sample, for review. Its position and attachment method are agreed as part of the blanket design. This option is separate from the aluminized fabric outer cover and is not included in every standard blanket.

Turbo Blanket Sizes and Model-Specific Fitments

Our range includes T25/T28, T3, T3/T4, T4 and T6 turbo blankets, plus model-specific patterns. Check turbine housing dimensions, outlet position, wastegate arrangement and installation clearance before ordering. A size designation alone does not confirm fitment.

Turbo Heat Shield Blanket Questions

Does the outer material determine the temperature rating?

No. The hot-face lining, insulation core, outer cover, stitching and fastening must be assessed together with the operating conditions. Provide continuous and peak temperatures separately when requesting a specification.

Can a blanket be made for an internally wastegated turbo?

Send photographs or a drawing showing the housing, actuator and linkage. The pattern must provide clearance for moving parts and access to required connections.

Is a turbo heat blanket the same as a turbo safety blanket?

No. A turbine-housing blanket is for thermal insulation. A turbo safety blanket is a separate product for compressor-side containment requirements. A thermal blanket must not be treated as a containment device.

For a quotation, send your turbo model or housing drawing, operating temperatures, preferred outer material, any embossed metal foil requirements and order quantity. Include installation photographs or a sample reference when available.
