How to install the fire protection hose sleeve?
Measure the outside of the hose, and add MIN 5mm size for fire protection hose sleeve. Like the hose outside 25mm, please choice 30mm fire sleeve. The bigger size is better than smaller size.
Install the fire sleeve to the hose from one end, and push the hydraulic hose into the fire sleeve slowly. Then use firesleeve tape or clamp to finish the install.
How about the temperature resistant ability of the fire sleeve?
The fire sleeve can be continuously exposed to a high temperature of 260°C without being damaged. And can withstand -70°C without being damaged. It can withstand 15 to 20 minutes at a high temperature of 1090°C and can withstand a time of 15 to 30 seconds at a high temperature of 1650°C.
